The 2024 election results will be in, but what do they mean for the future of our democracy? This November, the Wake Dem Forum is excited to host Dr. David McLennan, professor of political science at Meredith College and Director of the Meredith Poll, to help us unpack the results of this pivotal election.

About the Speaker:

Dr. McLennan brings years of expertise analyzing North Carolina's political landscape, voter behavior, and polling data. McLennan’s practical approach to politics guides his teaching, research, and service at Meredith College, and he often appears in national media as a political analyst. He also founded the Meredith Poll, a statewide public opinion survey that focuses on women’s issues, providing students with hands-on experience. McLennan is a sought-after speaker and the author of multiple reports on the status of women in NC politics.
