UPDATE: Monday, March 30, 2026 - APRIL MEETING CANCELED

Hello Dem Forum friends,

We are sorry to share that the Wake Democratic Forum will not hold its regular April meeting on April 2 this year.

This is not for lack of effort. We made nearly two dozen outreach attempts to potential speakers and worked hard to put together a strong April program, but with the holiday weekend and many spring schedules in motion, we were unable to secure the right speaker and format for this month.

If you already purchased a ticket for April, your ticket will still be honored at a future Forum meeting, including May, June, or another upcoming month.

We sincerely apologize and look forward to returning in May with a stronger program.

2026-2027 Board Nominations

Open Positions

Under our bylaws, the April step of the nominations process is when the Nominating Committee begins its work and reports nominations to the Club, with elections to follow in May and installation in June. Since we are not meeting in person this month, we are opening nominations through a simple online form. 

The Forum is accepting nominations for the following: Four Board Members-at-Large seats, President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

The Nominating Committee will review all submissions and prepare its recommendations. Later in April, the Committee’s nominations will then be shared with the full membership in advance of our May election process.
